Tank Installation

These are the general steps involved in installing the new tanks into a boat.

1. Install new smaller tanks
2. Plumb them together
3. Pump fuel back into new tank (filtered old fuel or new fuel)

The original fuel tank this boat had, was ruined by sea water and had to be replaced. The original tank was too large to remove as a whole and had to be cut up for removal. This large tank was then replaced with 3 smaller tanks, with a combined capacity equal to the original tank. Here are some thumbnails of the installation process. (click to enlarge). 

The three tanks were installed, in a very small and tight place. The tanks are plumbed together in order to match the capacity of the original tank. (click each thumbnail to enlarge)
