American Tanks has been building quality fuel and water tanks for the marine industry in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties for 25 years.

We build new or replacement tanks.

Family owned and operated.

We are capable of removing, building, and installing water/ fuel tanks, while rarely removing engines or woodwork in boats/yachts.

We are capable of bending, shearing, or rolling 12 foot sheets of 1/4 inch material.

Our welders are aircraft certified.

All welding equipment is the latest model Miller Synchrowave, Miller Tig and Mig.

We use aluminum 5052 or 5086, stainless steel 316l, and cold rolled steel.

Steel is painted with a 2 part epoxy paint by ProLine.

We offer FREE delivery service from San Diego to Marina Del Rey.
